A New Roll of Film

This is a roll of Fuji Provia 100F, Slide Film. Run through my good friend Dan’s Leica M6. I used both his 35mm and 50mm lens and can’t remember photos are from which lens. This ain’t news to anyone, but the sharpness out of this camera is nuts. Perhaps most surprising to me is how willing it is to shoot at low speeds, take that mirrors! The lantern shot in particular, I had just put the 35mm lens on without realizing there was an ND Filter on it, so I think I was shooting by hand at like, 1/15 or 1/8 of a second and it still turned out usable. The slide film, on the other hand, I’m still struggling with. I feel like I should either get a nice handheld meter or taking a metering class, but there were a LOT of overexposed images, particularly skies in this roll. But the Leica was fun! I think I’ll be buying in eventually…
